THE AUTHORS SUMMARISE THEIR TESTS ON THE CONTROL OF ROT IN CLEMENTINA FINA AND CLEMENNULES MANDARINS AND WASHINGTON NAVEL AND VALENCIA LATE ORANGES. THEY TESTED TREATMENTS IN THE ORCHARD AND PRETREATMENTS BY IMMERSION. THE BEST RESULTS WERE OBTAINED WITH PRETREATMENTS BY IMMERSION IN 1,000 PPM IMAZALIL OR 1,000 PPM PROCHLORAZ. FOR THE CONTROL OF ROT DURING DEGREENING AND MARKETING, THE TREATMENT WITH 12 PPM 2.4-D + 500 PPM IMAZALIL WAS THE MOST EFFECTIVE.
