Évaluation et optimisation énergétique d'un système de pompe à chaleur à double source situé à Amsterdam.

Energy assessment and optimization of a dual source heat pump system located in Amsterdam.

Résumé

The use of more efficient and renewable systems in the building sector is key to reduce the carbon emissions and reduce the global warming effect. In this sector, ground source heat pumps are able to provide heating, cooling and domestic hot water with a higher efficiency than conventional systems but a higher investment cost, due to the ground source heat exchanger. In order to reduce its length and improve the efficiency of the system, a new solution was developed: a dual source heat pump (DSHP) system with a single heat pump unit, able to work with the air or the ground as a source, selecting the most favourable and reducing the impact on the ground. A detailed model of the DSHP system has been developed and adapted to one building in Amsterdam. It has been used to assess the energy performance of the system and test different optimization strategies.
