Summary

The report deals with several refrigerant mixtures with different temperature glides, and in particular with their leakage behaviour and shifts in concentration. Beginning with a short description of how to carry out the leakage tests the reader is informed about tests that include loss by expansion out of the vapour phase, as well as addition of original product. Based on these test results, there are shown the consequences of the shifts in concentration on refrigeration parameters. The parameters of a refrigeration circuit (the percentage deviations between original product and "leakage mixture") are calculated. That means in detail the deviations relating to compression ratio, compressor discharge temperature, volumetric refrigerating effect and COP.
