Summary

The experimental results show that nanofluids have a remarkably larger rate of cool discharging than BaCl2 solutions, and the cool discharge capacity of nanofluids are more than BaCl2 solutions during the same time; the heat transfer coefficient of the heat exchanger is improved remarkably, and the total heat transfer coefficient of a nanofluid in the heat exchanger is higher than that of the BaCl2 solution, which verified the nanoparticles contribute to strengthen the heat performance of PCM.
