Saturated liquid density for ethyl fluoride (HFC-161).

Author(s) : LIU Y., HE X., ZHAO X.

Type of article: IJR article

Summary

In this paper, a modified saturated liquid density measurement system was established. The experimental system was verified by measuring densities of isobutane. Saturated liquid densities of ethyl fluoride (HFC-161) were investigated by using the measurement system over a temperature range from 283 to 365 K. The expanded (k=2) relative uncertainty in measurement of the density is less than 0.6%. The experimental data were correlated with the VDNS-type equation, and the parameters of the equation were given. The present experimental data were also compared with the literature values.
