Summary

In the field of refrigeration there is an interesting potential of unused cold sources. Generally, liquid gases are transformed to the gaseous state at temperatures under -150 deg C by evaporation and are used for example as inert gases, heating gaz or gazeous fuel. An accumulator was developed and commissioned which can store low temperature cold under -90 deg C. Liquid nitrogen is used as cold source and latent storage material as accumulator media.
