Comparison of the effect of cryotherapy and laser therapy on the tissues.

[In German. / En allemand.]

Summary

The effect of low temperatures on the tissues has among others the following effects: adhesive effect, cryostimulation, cryoblocking, reversible decrease of the functions, cryodestruction. The effects in the tissues dues to laser irradiations result of the following processes: photothermal process, photoionizing or non linear process (photoacoustics, photoablation, photodisruption), photochemical process. Each of these two therapies is applied to specific fields. In the case if the two therapies lead to the same results, it must be decided which of the therapies is the best.
