Development of a 1 kiloA class alternating current lead system for a fault current limiter.

Summary

A 1-kiloA rms current lead system has been designed and tested. The current lead system was composed of (BP)SCCO tube leads (used in 77-4 K range), copper leads (used in 300-77 K), a liquid helium vessel and a 77 K refrigerator, which cools the thermal anchor of the current leads and a radiation shield.
