Summary

The paper describes the performance of a workflow amplifier. The progressive-wave-type thermal compressor is manufactured and examined. It is confirmed that the thermal compressor works as a work-amplifier. In the experiment, the maximum amplification ratio of 1.59 is obtained at 24.4 Hz of the driving frequency. That frequency becomes larger than the resonance frequency of solid displacers. Then, numerical analyses show that the calculated characteristics agree with experimental results.
