Summary

In this paper, the transient performance of a finned singlepass water-to-air crossflow heat exchanger is investigated under humid conditions. The conservation laws are applied to finite control volumes using an implicit formulation. A transient model with simultaneous advection, convection, and conduction is represented by a couple set of partial differential equations.
