Multitemperature cryogenic test methodology proposition.

Essais des groupes cryogéniques en multitempérature.

Summary

The international agreement on the transport of perishable goods, the ATP signed in 1970, established a method and test procedure for equipment fitted with liquefied gas systems. The proposed method is presented in ATP, Annex 1, Appendix 2 paragraph 34. In the years 90's, the unit manufacturers begin to develop and sale multitemperature mechanically refrigerated units. These equipments are designed to maintain, for a same equipment, different temperatures in different insulated compartments. Since 2000, the range of products has extended to groups in multicryogenic temperatures. The market for these new devices is rapidly increasing and it's necessary to anticipate the test procedure changes. France presents an informal proposal on this subject. This proposal will incorporate a special procedure and recommendations for cryogenic multitemperature tests. For the English version of this document, see this Bulletin, reference 2010-2045.
