Number: pap. ID: 442

Author(s) : BOR D. M. van de, WANG Y., INFANTE FERREIRA C. A.

Summary

In this study the behavior of ammonia-water mixtures during desorption in minichannels is investigated for various operating conditions. Heat- and mass transfer coefficients were estimated for channel sizes between 0.5 and 2 mm and ranged respectively between 15 and 70 kW/m2.K for the heat transfer coefficient and ranged between 0.00005 and 0.00015 m/s for the mass transfer coefficient at a total mass flux of 40 kg/m2 through the channel.
