Number: pap. n. 44

Summary

The BMSTU has created and studied a new type cold generator – a rotor wave cryogenerator (RWCG). A mode of operation consists in transmission of expending gas flow energy to the flow of compressible gas by shock waves. It was experimentally shown that the device is high efficient when expansion ratio was 2-2.5. The scheme of a natural gas liquefier was developed on the base the RWCG. The capital expenditure to realization of this plant is less by 25% in comparison with the analogue plants based on technologies using conventional turbo-expanders.
