Summary

The Smart Energy Network is a system realizing the low-carbon and disaster-resistant city. The Smart Energy Network provides the heat, electricity and information network which can use renewable energy, unused energy and CGS waste heat. So we can control not only the energy supply machines but also the energy use machines. We can understand the detailed energy situation and weather forecast. Using these functions, we introduced the SENEMS® (Smart Energy Network and Energy Management System), which can control automatically heat source machines, CGS and air conditioners based on the optimal operating plan. In this report, we show the system outline and the performance evaluation using renewable energy and unused energy in the Tamachi Smart Energy Network that makes use of the SENEMS®.
