Author(s) : ADHIKARY P., IQBAL F., SADRI R., et al.

Summary

The main aim of this research project is to develop a self balancing duct cleaning robot in order to help the HVAC system to make it more energy efficient and healthy. These self-balancing robot mechanisms may increase the complexity of their design, but the benefits, which include greater maneuverability and stability, outweigh their costs. Robot control has been implemented using Arduino Uno microcontroller (ATmega328). It has been used to control the robotic arm by servo motor based on the user’s input. Robots have been used in various industries like medical, science, research etc. So in this paper a new idea has been proposed to implement self balancing robots in HVAC industry. Good agreement was found between the simulated results and obtained project site data.
