Summary

The first part of document 1 of the report presents and compares calculated demand figures with market figures with which SNEFCCA has been provided and with those compiled in ADEME's Refrigerant Observatory.
Then, the report presents results of refrigerant demand calculations in new systems, refrigerant demand for maintenance, refrigerant bank figures, overall emissions and CO2-equivalents (according to the GWP values of the IPCC's 2nd Assessment Report which are the values declared to UNFCCC) and amounts of recovered refrigerants in 2010, for each sector: domestic refrigeration, commercial refrigeration, refrigerated transport, industrial refrigeration, water chiller units, air conditioning, residential heat pumps and mobile air conditioning.
