REDUCING WALL THICKNESS OF A REFRIGERATED VAN IS USUALLY ONLY POSSIBLE BY USING INSULATION WITH A LOWER THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY. KNOWLEDGE OF THIS IS USED IN PRODUCING IMPROVED INSULATIONS, WHICH ARE TESTED AFTERWARDS. THE TEST EQUIPMENT AND SOME RESULTS ARE DISCUSSED.
