Susan Phalippou, who is in charge of promotion at the IIR, ran the IIR's stand displaying a range of IIR products, set up many new contacts and enjoyed seeing a number of visitors, including Dr Guy Hundy (President of IoR), Robert Heap (former President of IoR and President of the IIR's Science and Technology Council) and Andy Pearson (Star Refrigeration). RAC05 attracted over 180 exhibitors and 5500 visitors. A highly appreciated innovation was the Service Engineer Skills Centre providing free practical training for service engineers.
