Evaluation de l'influence des lubrifiants sur les propriétés thermodynamiques et la performance de mélanges de frigorigènes dans des cycles frigorifiques et de conditionnement d'air.

An evaluation of the effects of lubricants on the thermodynamic properties and performance of refrigerant mixtures in refrigeration and air conditioning cycles.

Résumé

The paper reports on further studies of the effect of lubricants in perturbing the thermodynamic properties and cycle performance of the commercially available HFC refrigerant mixtures. The effect on azeotropic, near-azeotropic and zeotropic blends, both binary and ternary, comprising the primary HFC refrigerants R32, R143a, R125 and R134a are presented, including those from the R407 series, R404A and R507 with the ISO mixed-acid polyol ester lubricant (EMKARATE RL32S). Calculation results for cycle simulations, such as simple model evaporation, condensation and isentropic compression processes, show that the presence of oil at levels of 1-2% can affect the calculated gross capacity, heat of compression and COP. It will be shown that the approach of using an equation of state based model to describe lubricant-refrigerant systems is promising and should be developed further for use in theoretical cycle performance analysis.
