Research on the radiant air-conditioning system in a residential building of the Yangtze River valley.

Résumé

For advantages of energy saving and better human comfort, floor radiant systems have been widely used in the cold-winter zone in China. However, in the Yangtze River Valley, the main purpose for air conditioning is to dehumidify and keep a suitable indoor temperature in summer. According to the climate conditions in hot summer and cold winter zone, a new type of radiant system has been applied which is called as floor radiant system combined with dehumidifier. This combined system can solve the condensation trouble for radiant floor cooling in summer. Experimental results showed that the combined system supports a better indoor thermal environment and human comfort, in comparison with single floor cooling system. Also, aiming at promoting the running stability of heat pump, this paper suggests a manipulation called big temperature difference and small water flow management. Besides, in order to analyse the weight coefficient and superior value of each factor, the authors programmed software which helps to popularize this combined system over the Yangtze River Valley.
