Analyse unidimensionnelle d'un cycle frigorifique sous-refroidi à éjecteur transcritique au CO2 : résultats expérimentaux.

1D analysis of CO2 sub-cooled/supercritical ejector refrigeration cycle: experimental results.

Résumé

An ejector expansion transcritical CO2 refrigeration cycle is proposed to improve the performance of the basic transcritical CO2 cycle by reducing the expansion process losses. A 1D analysis is carried out in order to investigate the ejector performance of a sub-cooled/supercritical refrigeration cycle using supercritical CO2 as working fluid. More than 18 ejectors composed by a nozzle and a body are realized and tested on a test bench. Experimental results are used to adapt the 1D model. Sensitivity study is performed to investigate the effect of the evaporating and gas cooler outlet temperatures on the ejector energy performances. Also, the effect of the ejector geometry is analyzed. The COP of the ejector expansion transcritical CO2 cycle can be improved by more than 12% compared to the conventional transcritical cycle for typical air conditioning operating conditions.
