Résumé

Liquid dehumidification is a promising energy-saving technology that can be embedded in air-conditioning systems while the dehumidifier is a crucial component affecting the dehumidification performance. A performance test-bed for a LiBr liquid dehumidifier with random packing was constructed in this study. Experiments were conducted at different operation conditions, i.e. different inlet solution and air states. The influence order of inlet parameters on the dehumidification performance and the optimum combination scheme were further analysed using the orthogonal simulation method. A new two-stage cross-flow liquid dehumidifier is proposed and simulated using numerical models. The performance of the new dehumidifier is compared with conventional dehumidifiers. Simulation test results show that dehumidification efficiency of the new dehumidifier is improved by about 20%. The parameter optimization of dehumidifiers and the use of two-stage cross-flow in dehumidifiers provide effective means for enhancing dehumidifier performance and achieving deep dehumidification.
