Résumé

In this study, the dehydration and hydration reactivity of lithium hydroxide-modified magnesium hydroxides (LiOH/Mg(OH)2) was studied. The effect of lithium hydroxide addition on the dehydration or hydration behavior was studied experimentally. LiOH/Mg(OH)2 dehydrated efficiently at 270°C, and shows the reversibility on the hydration reaction. The heat output density of samples (Mg(OH)2:LiOH = 100:20, 100:25, 100:33, 100:50 (mole ratio)) were almost same at a hydration temperature of 110°C and a partial water vapor pressure of 57.8kPa. So the best mole ratio of samples is Mg(OH)2:LiOH=100:20. LiOH/Mg(OH)2 (especially Mg(OH)2:LiOH = 100:20) shows the potential performance as a chemical heat storage material.
