Résumé

These proceedings contain 78 presentations given at this IIR-co-sponsored symposium, held in Tokyo, Japan, on the general theme "Measures to address climate change". The symposium is structured around keynote and invited lectures by distinguished researchers, general lectures and poster presentations on the most recent domestic and international research and development, as well as presentations and an exhibition on the results of the research from the NEDO project "Development of Non-fluorinated Energy-saving Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems". Main topics: natural refrigerants; new low GWP synthetic refrigerants; next-generation refrigeration and air-conditioning systems; next-generation elemental technology; new heat-pump technology; new heat exchanger technology.
