Résumé

A new type of compression mechanism named "Helical Compressor" was presented at the Purdue Conference in 1992 and 1998. Further, fundamental experiments and theoretical analysis have clarified various phenomena in the helical compressor. As a result, the authors can successfully achieve the practical use of the helical compressor. The paper shows the whole structure achieved for practical use of the helical compressor.
