Le professeur Arkharov, un scientifique bien connu dans le domaine de la cryogénie, a célébré ce mois-ci sont 90e anniversaire.
This month Prof. Alexey M. Arkharov, a well known scientist in the field of cryogenics, celebrated his 90th birthday. He was an active figure in the IIR. For many years he represented the USSR, then Russia in the IIR Executive Committee, also he was a vice-president (Section A) of the Science and Technology Council for two terms. As a person with outstanding and original achievements in cryogenic development he was awarded the IIR Gustav Lorentzen medal and price in 2007.
Prof. Arkharov is an honorary member of the IIR. Now he continues to be active and helps in organizing the IIR co-sponsored conference, which Russia is going to hold in 2022. We wish the hero of the anniversary good health and success.
