Au Royaume-Uni, les fournisseurs de frigorigènes ont annoncé une hausse des prix des frigorigènes à fort potentiel de réchauffement planétaire à partir du 1er avril 2017.
The online British magazine the Cooling Post recently published two articles reporting that several refrigerant manufacturers and wholesalers, such as Chemours, Mexichem or Kooltech, announced price increases which will come into effect on April 1. This cost increase is directly linked to the F-gas regulations to phase down high GWP HFCs.
High GWP HFCs are the most directly concerned. The price incease will reach 30% for refrigerants such as R404A, R422 and R507. Prices of common gases such as R134a or R410a will increase by 20%.
