Briefs: Energy-saving Maersk reefers

Thanks to QUEST (Quality and Energy efficiency in Storage and Transport) software providing a new temperature-control regime based on commodity instead of air temperature, Maersk estimates that the energy consumption used to cool its reefers will be cut by 50%. Moreover, CO2 emissions will be reduced by 325 000 tonnes per year.
