Canada is rolling out a 1-year pilot hydrogen project across the country. Two hydrogen-fuelled buses are to come into service in Charlottetown. Each bus will run on a H2 combustion engine and will carry 12 passengers. The federal government is funding CAD 275 000 and the province CAD 100 000. Air Liquide is providing the hydrogen for the vehicles and a contribution of CAD 175 000 and a temporary hydrogen fuelling station has been installed.
