Briefs: Obituary

Dr P. Ole Fanger, Senior Professor at the International Centre for Indoor Environment and Energy at the Technical University of Denmark, died on September 18, 2006, at the age of 72. He was considered as the world's leading expert on the effect of the indoor environment on human comfort, health and productivity. He had been Vice-President of IIR Commission E1 for 9 years. The IIR offers its sincere condolences to his family.
