Conference report: Russia

Russia : the IIR co-sponsored the International Conference on the "Refrigeration Industry in 21st Century". The conference was held in Moscow on December 6-8, 2004, at the International Industrial Academy. Many presentations were food-industry focused, and one focused on refrigeration in medicine. Several papers on energy efficiency and environmentally friendly refrigerants were presented. The presentations and posters were from industry, universities and certain administrations (safety regulations…), from Russia and neighbouring countries. Numerous Russian members of the IIR were present. Didier Coulomb presented the IIR.
