AHRI fournit des données mensuelles sur les équipements de chauffage et de refroidissement expédiés par les fabricants américains sur le marché américain. Les données couvrent les deux mois précédant le mois de leur publication. Ainsi, les données d’août 2025 ont été publiées en octobre 2025.
The Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) provides monthly data on the volume of heating and cooling equipment shipped by US manufacturers into the US market. Their latest shipment data report covered the month of August 2025, with year-to-date comparisons with August 2024.
According to AHRI, US shipments of central air conditioners and air-source heat pumps totalled 679,378 units in August 2025, down – 30.4% from the 975,841 units shipped in August 2024.
Year-to-date combined shipments of central air conditioners and air-source heat pumps are down 10.6 % over the number of units shipped in the same period in 2024. Year-to-date shipments of central air conditioners decreased by 16.3 %, while those of heat pumps decreased by 2.9%.
The AHRI statistics team defines a shipment as when a unit transfers ownership; a consignment is not a transfer of ownership. Industry data is aggregated from the information supplied by AHRI member companies that participate in the statistics program and can be subject to revision. AHRI’s 300+ member companies account for more than 90% of the residential and commercial air conditioning, space heating, water heating, and commercial refrigeration equipment manufactured and sold in North America.
