AHRI fournit des données mensuelles sur les équipements de chauffage et de refroidissement expédiés par les fabricants américains sur le marché américain. Les données couvrent les deux mois précédant le mois de leur publication. Ainsi, les données de mars 2025 ont été publiées en mai 2025.
The Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) provides monthly data on the volume of heating and cooling equipment shipped by US manufacturers into the US market. Their latest shipment data report covered the month of March 2025, with year-to-date comparisons with March 2024.
According to AHRI, US shipments of central air conditioners and air-source heat pumps totalled 818,761 units in March 2025, down –2.4% from the 838,626 units shipped in March 2024.
Year-to-date combined shipments of central air conditioners and air-source heat pumps are up 5.2% over the number of units shipped in the same period in 2024. Year-to-date shipments of central air conditioners increased by 3.2%, while those of heat pumps increased by 7.7%.
The AHRI statistics team defines a shipment as when a unit transfers ownership; a consignment is not a transfer of ownership. Industry data is aggregated from the information supplied by AHRI member companies that participate in the statistics program and can be subject to revision. AHRI’s 300+ member companies account for more than 90% of the residential and commercial air conditioning, space heating, water heating, and commercial refrigeration equipment manufactured and sold in North America.
