FRISBEE Project

The IIR is involved in a 4-year project within the context of the EU 7th Framework Programme. The objective of the FRISBEE (Food Refrigeration Innovations for Safety, consumers' Benefit, Environmental impact and Energy optimisation along the cold chain in Europe) project is to provide new tools, concepts and solutions for improving refrigeration technologies throughout the European food cold chain. The IIR's mission will be to disseminate information on the project, in particular research outcomes, via the publication of leaflets and by organizing special side events during IIR conferences and congresses.
