PartagerIIR conference report: Padua
Two IIR events organized by Prof. Renato Lazzarin have just been held in Padua, Italy:
- Sources/Sinks alternative to the outside Air for Heat Pump and Air-Conditioning Techniques took place on April 5-7, 2011. Heat sources and heat sinks of heat pumps and refrigeration systems, respectively, have an immense impact on performance. This groundbreaking conference covered heat sink and heat source R&D.
- 11th International Sorption Heat Pump Conference (ISHPC11) was held on April 6-8, 2011. This triennial conference is dedicated to heat pumping devices making use of ab- or adsorption effects. The two events attracted 190 participants from 26 countries. Over 120 papers (including 6 keynotes) were presented.
