International events: Boulder

The 3rd IIR Conference on Thermophysical Properties and Transfer Processes of Refrigerants was held on June 23-26, 2009 in Boulder, Colorado, USA. It was jointly organized with the 17th Symposium on Thermophysical Properties regularly held in Boulder. Koichi Watanabe, former Head of the IIR's Section B, received the Touloukian Award. The respective properties of natural refrigerants and new HFOs used as refrigerants or foams were a particular focus.
