According to a new market research report proposed by ReportLinker, the household refrigerator and home freezer manufacturing industry's revenue for the year 2012 was reported at USD 3.5 billion, with an estimated gross profit of 31.47%. Import was valued at USD 4.2 billion from 43 countries.
The industry also exported USD 8 billion worth of merchandise to 151 countries.
Adding import value to and subtracting export value from the industry's shipment value, the total Indian domestic demand for the industry in 2012 was USD 6.8 billion.
