. The Chinese Ministry of Environmental Protection along with UNEP, UNIDO, GIZ and CHEAA recently released the Environmental Protection and Low-GWP label for room air conditioners and air-to-water heat pump water heaters.
The eligibility criteria are the following: to meet the national standard for energy-saving products, to use zero ODP and less than 150 GWP refrigerants.

. On 19 March 2015, China’s National Development and Reform Commission announced the “Energy Efficiency Label for lithium bromide absorption Chiller”. The label aims to enhance energy efficiency visibility and to encourage companies to place a globally accessible QR code on the label. It will come into force from December 2015 and can be applied on www.energylabel.gov.cn.
