The Women4Energy International Conference with the focus on Smart Cities takes place in Stuttgart, Germany, inviting women in science and women in industry to increase their network, learn about energy challenges and trends in order to elaborate jointly technology solutions and business models for a more sustainable future.
The Women4Energy International Conference with the focus on Smart Cities takes place in Stuttgart, Germany, inviting women in science and women in industry to increase their network, learn about energy challenges and trends in order to elaborate jointly technology solutions and business models for a more sustainable future.
The conference reaches out to all professional women active in energy related innovation to
- create new business ideas and technology solutions for the energy market,
- generate and discuss new business models to get solutions to market,
- encourage innovative business creation, and
- to enhance market entry for innovative energy technologies, processes and services
To achieve this, the conference will present the needs and challenges in the European energy market. Thematic workshops will generate and discuss future trends in renewable energies, based on newest research results and business ideas. The resulting ideas can form the basis for new innovation projects or business creations, to be supported by KIC InnoEnergy or European Programmes like Horizon 2020.
We are happy to welcome women active in science and industry presenting future trends in renewables in our afternoon sessions.
They are encouraged to submit an abstract with their research results and technology solutions as well as their business ideas in one of the above fields. Selected abstracts will get the opportunity to be presented in the sessions.

- Energy efficient Smart Cities - ICT, mobility, energy storage
- Smart Cities – resources - Renewable energy solutions – solar, wind, water, biomass
- Efficient buildings - Heating, cooling, building insulation, Smart home
