Le Brésil publie son nouveau plan de développement énergétique à l'horizon 2022
D' ici 2022, le Brésil prévoit d'investir 1200 milliards BRL (370 milliards €), dont 75% pour le production de gaz et de pétrole et 22,6% pour la production d'électricité.
The Ministry of Mines and Energy of Brazil, through the Empresa de Pesquisa Energética, has published its energy development plan ("Plano Decenal de Expansão de Energia", PDE) until 2022.
By 2022, Brazil plans to invest BRL1,200bn (USD495bn), of which 72.5% will be directed to oil and gas, 22.6% to electricity supply and 4.9% to liquid biofuels.
The installed power capacity is expected to increase from about 120 GW in 2012 to 183 GW by 2022, while oil production will more than double from 2.1 mb/d to 5.5 mb/d.
Natural gas and ethanol productions are also expected to double, reaching 189 million m3/day for gas and rising from 24 mcm to 57 mcm for ethanol.
