Le CEEE accueille la conférence internationale THERMAG - IX 2021 (en anglais)
More than 200 people from around the world attended the THERMAG - IX June 7-11, 2021 hosted by The Center for Environmental Energy Engineering at University of Maryland, College Park (US).
This IIR conference was sponsored by ASHRAE and Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and was initially scheduled for June 2020 but adapted to a virtual platform due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The THERMAG - IX served as a forum to present and discuss information on the latest progress in research and development of caloric cooling material and device technology. The following topics were presented over the 5-day event: Magnetocaloric materials; Elastocaloric materials; Barocaloric materials; Electrocaloric materials; Caloric devices; for cooling/ heat pumping; Caloric applications at refrigeration; Thermocaloric energy conversion; Resource basis & recycling of caloric materials; Standardization & terminology of caloric material.
