Markets: Marked AC growth in Spain

Over the past 2 years, the AC industry has grown 25% in Spain. Growth is attributed to Spain's warm climate and a rising standard of living. In 2006, the turnover of the AC sector was 1600 million € (with 225 million € in exports) and that of the refrigeration sector was 800 million € (with 105 million € worth of exports). The HVAC sector as a whole had a turnover of 6000 million € and currently employs 35 000 persons.
