Linde has launched CRYOLINE XF, a new cryogenic spiral freezer, which uses advanced cross-flow technology to reduce freezing time and improve cryogen efficiency, while reducing overall freezer size.
This freezer, which received the Innovation Award at the CFIA Food Fair 2011 in France, provides twice the heat transfer rate of conventional spiral freezers by covering nearly 100% of the belt-freezing surface area with a high-velocity gas flow.
It is claimed to have the largest freezing capacity of any cryogenic freezer on the market and is suitable for high production capacities of food products such as meat, seafood, poultry, prepared meals and bakery products.
