Nouvelles des membres de l'IIF : Star Refrigeration (en anglais)
Après une année de recherches sur les frigorigènes à faible GWP, Star Refrigeration propose un nouveau refroidisseur utilisant le R1234ze.
After a year’s research project into low GWP cooling, Star Refrigeration proposes a new chiller using R1234ze.
The increasing European and International pressures to ban some HFCs and phase-down their use have prompted the company to develop an innovative solution that combines high efficiency and low GWP.
The new addition to Star’s air cooled Indigochiller range uses R1234ze, a HFO (hydrofluoroolefin) refrigerant, which has a low GWP of 6. This is a highly energy efficient, low noise chiller solution for building services, HVAC and process cooling.
Star teamed up with Danfoss Turbocor and Honeywell when developing the new range of Indigochiller at their design and manufacturing facilities in Glasgow, Scotland.
