A liquid-hydrogen-powered unmanned spy plane from Boeing’s Phantom Works has successfully completed its second test flight.

This drone is designed to fly four days without refueling. During the test flight, Phantom Eye flew higher than 2400 m at a cruising speed of 115 Km/h, and stayed in the air for 66 minutes.
The Phantom Eye is intended to carry a 205-kg payload while operating for up to four days at altitudes of up to 2000 m.

The drone has an advanced propulsion system using hydrogen-powered internal combustion engines. The aircraft’s only by-product is water.
