Record air-conditioning sales in France in 2004

Clim' Info has published the sales figures for air-conditioning units until August 31, 2004 . For many units, during the January-August period, sales had already practically doubled. At the end of August, sales of interior units had risen by 142%. Sales of mobile units had already benefited from the effect of the heat wave in 2003 and expanded 40%, then further increased by 96% last summer, increasing the number of units sold to 108 000 on August 31. As for interior units, their sales increased by 142%, compared with the same period in 2003, increasing from 219 008 to 530 000 units.
