Statutory meetings

The Beijing Congress The Publications Sub-Committee, the members of the Science and Technology Council who are in the Management Committee and the Management Committee held their meetings in Karlsruhe, Germany, on March 23-24, 2007 thanks to the invitation of Dieter Gorenflo and the DKV. The main issues were various IIR documents to be produced in 2007 regarding the environmental policy, preparation of the Beijing Congress, the IIR's 100th Anniversary in 2008 and the budgets. These meetings also provided an opportunity to discuss the implementation of the former IIR Strategic and Operating Plans and to prepare the next ones. The attendees also visited the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences and the Karlsruhe University, Institute of Thermodynamics and Refrigeration, both very famous in the field of refrigeration technology.
