Un réfrigérateur «intelligent» lance une cyberattaque (en anglais)
Un réfrigérateur "intelligent" connecté à Internet est impliqué dans l'envoi de spams malveillants.
An internet-connected smart fridge has been blamed for sending malicious spam emails.
Proofpoint, a leading US internet security service provider, claims to have uncovered a cyberattack, over Christmas and the New Year, involving conventional household “smart” appliances.
The global attack involved more than 750,000 malicious emails sent from more than 100,000 everyday consumer gadgets, including home routers, multi-media centres, televisions and at least one refrigerator.
The company claims that these poorly protected internet connected devices may be more attractive and easier to infect and control than personal computers and tablets.
