Une usine cubaine va détruire les substances qui appauvrissent la couche d'ozone (en anglais)

Cuba sera le premier pays d'Amérique latine à ouvrir une usine destinée à détruire les CFC.
Cuba will be the first country in Latin America to open a plant meant to CFCs.

The first plant in Latin America with the purpose of destroying CFCs will be operational soon in Cuba. It is part of a strategy developed by Cuba and the Multilateral Fund of the Protocol of Montreal through the UN Development Program (UNDP).
Cuba will have the world’s fifth plant for incineration of harmful gases, according to Elier Rodriguez, project specialist.

The objective of the plant is to destroy CFCs in order to secure the region's ecosystem and prevent harmful emissions from reaching the atmosphere.
