CYTEF 2026 - XIII Iberian Congress and XI Ibero-American Congress of Cold Sciences and Techniques

The aim of the XIII Iberian Congress and XI Ibero-American Congress of Refrigeration Sciences and Techniques (CYTEF 2026), which will be held in Malaga from 24 to 26 June 2026, is to bring together professionals, researchers and companies linked to the field of refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps, in order to disseminate and exchange knowledge, to share experiences and foster collaborations that promote new research, development and innovation initiatives.

Following the consolidated trajectory of previous editions, CYTEF 2026 aims to strengthen this benchmark forum in the Iberian and Ibero-American sphere, promoting with special interest the participation of companies in the sector as a key element in bringing technological innovation closer to professional and industrial practice. In this sense, the congress will offer an ideal space for the presentation of new technological developments, implementation experiences and success stories related to refrigeration, air conditioning and energy efficiency. The interaction between companies, researchers and professionals will make it possible to identify common challenges and promote the transfer of knowledge and technology to the productive fabric.

In a context marked by the energy transition and environmental challenges, the development of more efficient and sustainable thermal technologies is essential. Aspects such as the use of refrigerants with low environmental impact, the integration of renewable energies, the improvement of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, or the energy optimisation of facilities and processes will occupy a prominent place in the scientific programme of the congress.

From the Organizing Committee we invite researchers, professionals and companies in the sector to actively participate in CYTEF 2026, contributing with their work and experiences to the exchange of knowledge and the advancement of Cold Sciences and Techniques.
